middle: This is First Cathedral in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is religiously very rich in culture and this cathedral really exemplifies the effect of christianity in this area.

Top left: this is Barrick's Gold mine in Pueblo Viejo, Dominican Republic. This is where natural resources are claimed and then exported. Areas like these highlight job oppurtunities offered in the Dominican Republic and how natural resources are used in the economy.

middle: The dominican Republic has many historical sites to visit such as this one. In this picture, a large statue of jesuse christ towers over Mt. Isabel.

The Dominican Republic also has caves to explore. This is Punta Cana Cave. A common activity is cace diving.

This is the busy city of Santo domingo. This picture really shows what life in the city is like. Shown in the picture are apartments where citixzens reside and a busy street.

This is a beach in the Dominican Republic. Tourists mostly come here.

This is a small island, whichis part of the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic's territories are scattered.

This picture dep[icts the main area where most of the tourists choose their destination to be. This picture shows that tourists have their own special places on the island. (p.2)
